The CableRAN is the fastest, simplest and most cost effective
solution for distributing one broadband access connection
to several end users in buildings, residential communities
and hotels. Using the existing building coax. CableRAN
enables service providers to easily extend broadband internet
access to all dwellings.
CableRAN consists of two components:
The Media Access Switch (MAS)- a broadband Ethernet Bridge/Router
that establishes a network within MDU or hotel - without new wires.
Intelligent Outlets (IO) - connected to the coax infrastructure,
providing TV and USB/Ethernet network connection in every room.

- For SMATV and SAT providers CableRAN offers a simple and effective solution for providing broadband access over the existing low grade coax
- For private cable operators - Cable RAN provides a low cost entry into homes
